Call For Posters -Deadline for Poster Submission: Friday, March 27th, 2009
Selection Notification will be sent to selected poster presenters on April 3rd.
Selected poster presenters will be able to register from April 3 through April 10.
Abstracts submitted for possible inclusion in the INC5 Poster Session should include your full name, affiliation, and complete contact information, and should be sent to posters@inc5.org. Posters should be of high quality and general interest.
Poster Topics may include:
- Overview presentations of organized intra-regional programs or research centers addressing nanotechnologies. These posters also may address regionally identified research needs.
- Overview presentations of organized inter-regional collaborative research programs addressing nanotechnologies.
- Technical presentations discussing highlighted research results of high regional or global significance.
- Description of key regional research facilities, particularly those possessing unique capabilities.
The audience for these poster presentations, typically, will be well-informed lay persons, but not technical specialists. Consequently, we suggest each technical poster provide adequate introductory and/or tutorial material and emphasize potential applications.
Abstracts should be 200 words or less and are due Friday, March 27th, 2009. Abstracts will be peer-reviewed for selection. Authors will be notified of the selection results no later than Friday, April 3rd, 2009. Selection Criteria include: high technical quality, broad interest, and high information content. Poster presenters are requested to provide printed copies of the abstract for distribution to conference attendees during the conference and allow the poster to be posted on the conference website.
Poster Specifications: Each poster should be comprised of a maximum 20-page presentation each page on 8.5 x 11 inch paper. Each poster will be displayed by the presenter on Tuesday, May 19, 2009, on one side of a large two-sided cork board provided by the conference.
Poster presenters will register for a reduced fee of $250.
